Nehru Gunaratnam –Leader of Canadian LTTE

On June 02, 2000 then Canada’s most senior intelligence officer, Mr. Ward Elcock, warned the nation that the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE aka Tamil Tigers) are exploiting Canada’s wealth to finance bloodshed around the world. “If you tolerate these activities, you can run into problems”.
Ten years later on January 18^th, 2011 Canadian Security Intelligence Services (CSIS) warned that “Tamil Tigers are to set up a base-in-exile here in Canada for the leadership. Some leadership is already here.” Which brings the Mr.Ward Elcock’s prediction of “you can run into problems” to a reality.

No wonder now Mr. Ward Elcock is assigned with a new task.  He is co-ordinating the whole-of-Harper’s Conservative government’s response “on human smuggling”.
So to find out the veracity of the statement “some leadership is already here” I did some research on this subject and the findings absolutely shocked me.  My entire search on the internet and print media confirmed that one of the most important LTTE leaders in Canada is Nehru Gunaratnam. He joined LTTE in mid of 1980 and since then he is an active LTTE member. Until 2003 he was the ‘shadow-leader’ of the Canadian LTTE and in 2003 the LTTE officially appointed him as their Political Committee Member representing their Canadian operations.”

This political committee compromised of LTTE leader V.Prabhakaran, LTTE Political wing leader S.P. Tamilchelvam, LTTE’s Ideologist Anton Balasingam , LTTE’s Women Political Wing leader Thamilini and seven other members from Diaspora each representing the country they live. This includes Canada, Britain, Denmark, Switzerland, France, Germany and Australia. As such Nehru Gunaratnam represented the LTTE in Canada.

Three of the LTTE’s leadership hierarchy, the leader Velupillai Prabhakaran, LTTE Political wing leader Tamilchelvam, LTTE’s Ideologist Anton Balasingam have died but luckily LTTE’s Women Political Wing leader Thamilini is still alive and she is under the custody of Sri Lankan police for quite sometimes.

These LTTE Diaspora representatives were fuelled with “no limit” amount of money to carry out mass demonstrations, human chains, road blocks etc. in the Western world. These are the people who were the masterminds behind disturbances to disrupt the normalcy of major cities throughout the Western world during the final phase of the Eelam War in Sri Lanka, in 2009.

Since a member of this committee is under the Sri Lankan custody now the matter of proving this case is in the hands of Canadian Intelligence Agency or Royal Canadian Mounted Police. They can visit Sri Lanka to interview her.  Their Sri Lankan counterparts will make necessary arrangements to meet Thamilini.

Thamilini’s real name is Subramaniam Sivathai and her LTTE registration number is 1736. She was arrested by Sri Lankan Police on May 27^th 2009 at an IDP camp. Recently her case was taken up by the Sri Lankan Judicial system and she was further remanded till February 21, 2011 to investigate more.

I thank God for giving me this opportunity to prove that my allegation has veracity and  is valid.  I have also established the fact that Nehru Gunaratnam is indeed the LTTE leader in Canada.  He is commanding the entire LTTE activities in Canada from coast to coast.  To some Tamils he is recognized as the gang leader of  of the LTTE in Canada,  and to some  others he is the cleric of violence, but for the majority of Tamils he is a barbarian involving in intimidation, thuggery, extortion and all other unscrupulous means to siphon out millions of dollars from the middle class Tamils in Canada.

They have mastered the criminal-craft of dealing with ‘Black money’ and that is indeed their power base.  They keep no accounts…nor audits..and no records. That is how they have been able to spend millions of dollars in a day in activities like the protest in Ottawa in April and May 2009 with 20,000 LTTE flags…hiring a van to transport the flags…another van to bring in snacks and juices for the 20,000 demonstrators…another van brought over placards….and another transported lunches and dinners…and several charted buses to bring the Tamil demonstrators from Toronto and Montreal.  This was a colossal operation which needed thousands of dollars.  It is also important to note that all those LTTE and WTM workers are paid employees and received payments under the table so that they did not have to pay taxes.  This was indeed a classic text book operation of a successful underground world operation of subversion.

I have now identified the lead man in this operation.  He is Nehru Gunaratnam.  The question is what is in store for Canada next?    
City of Ottawa claimed two millions dollars from the Federal for the extra services it provided during the LTTE flag marches at the Parliament Hill in Ottawa during April and May 2009.  This claim should be directed to Nehru Gunaratnam and his group. Toronto might have spent more than 10 millions extra for all those demonstration, protests, human chains so now it should charge all bills to Nehru Gunaratam’s group.  Ontario should charge him for blocking Gardiner Express way on the May 10^th, 2009. If G8 and G20 protesters got a lawful treatment why not this group?

According to an English pamphlet which warned about and Nehru Gunaratnam and NCCT/LTTE revealed that Nehru currently has an executive team of operatives to carry out LTTE’s agenda in Canada. This team includes Thamil, Kamal, Arumarugan, Amuthan and A1-Kannan. This is the executive team that carry out all activities in Canada.

According to one of NCCT’s press releases Nehru acted as the Co-ordinator to establish the National Council of Canadian Tamils. Other people involved in this process were namely Shan Thayaparan, Anojini Kumar, Amaleethan Xavier and Suren Nat. The media has made an assumption that Nehru Gunaratnam’s group had spent around 800,000 dollars to showcase the creation of the National Council of Canadian Tamils (NCCT).  Yet, nobody has queried from Gunaratnam’s group how they managed to access that amount of money and it is a mystery.
On the web I found another news item dated in early 2000 which quoted Nehru Gunaratnam as the Spokesperson of FACT in which Nehru defended the fundraising dinner, Liberal Government’s Cabinet Minister Paul Martin attended as the Chief Guest, was to generate money for the rehabilitation purposes. This was in response to Mainstream media’s accusation that FACT collected money on this fundraising to fund LTTE. It is worthy to note here that even though FACT was a Canadian Registered association it was listed as a terrorist outfit in USA in late 1990′s later FACT was disbanded.

According to another news item each NCCT executive members took an oath on July 03rd, 2010 that “I shall be faithful to all fallen heroes and the leadership [LTTE] and will carry out all activities to achieve an independent homeland, and shall respectfully obey to the by-laws of NCCT” this oath proves that NCCT is not an independent organization and functioning under LTTE. 

“Post September 11” is a new world order and anybody supports terrorism in any form should be brought and punished under the justice system.
With all the above submissions, it would be easy to conclude that NCCT is the reincarnation of the LTTE/WTM and is acting as their proxy, and both are terrorist outfits.  With their ambitious separatist-terrorist agenda, one would not be out of order to suggest that the NCCT will be used by the LTTE to infiltrate the Canadian Political Parties and seek nominations for political office.  There should be no doubt to conclude that NCCT’s leadership is controlled by the Canadian arm of the LTTE and its leader is Nehru Gunaratnam.”

Last Wednesday at a Vancouver news conference Minister of Public Safety, Mr. Vic Toews, repeated “the Tamil Tigers and queue-jumpers” claims and when reporters pressed on the issue, Mr. Vic Toews said tersely: “Maybe I’ll leave it at this – if you can provide me with a list of those who are LTTE and those who are not, I’ll certainly consider that.”
This subject we are discussing on this submission might be a different one but have solid proofs about LTTE operatives in Canada. These people can be called as “white-collar terrorist” and this issue should be addressed before they change Canada as their new base –in-exile for human trafficking, drug trafficking and terrorism activities. So Mr. Vic Toews should consider this submission and act on this matter at his earliest.

When Mr. Ward Elcock warned Canada in 2000, the Conservatives, under the leadership of Harper,  who were in the opposition immediately took the position to accuse the governing Liberal party that they were dancing with the LTTE/WTM, even though at the time the WTM was legitimately allowed to function in Canada.  But now that the LTTE/WTM are outlawed and any dealings with them by any group or person should be investigated according to the criminal code. But what is transpiring is that the Conservatives who are governing the country has started to dance with the LTTE/WTM for political gains, as what the Liberal did for 13 years.  Canada just has to be careful with such a change of events as she is playing with fire, and it will be a matter of time when Canada will realize that she will have to douse the fire, and may be by then it would be a bit too late.”
