Dear Rachel Joyce:

Since I was shadowing your candidature after I read your statement headlined in a newspaper as, ‘British candidate calls Tamils victims of genocide”, I did not want you to win and extremely happy that you did not get elected as a Member of Parliament as I was afraid that you would be spouting lies about Sri Lanka in the British parliament to support your Tamil constituents.

In your BlogSpot you say, “I must be doing something right as I’ve just received a string of abusive emails…(and also the anonymous comment on the previous blog post – a person too cowardly however to leave his ID!).

Hey! Lady, but did you ever wonder that, “I must be doing something wrong as I’ve just received a string of abusive emails!”  Think about it.  Isn’t that possible?

I wrote you on April 28, 2010, and I signed my name as Asoka Weerasinghe and gave you my address in Canada.  If my letter is one you have identified as an “abusive emails”, I am glad you did, as I did write you with a degree of resentment for your British brand of – ‘Cor Blimey! That’s a bloody lie’, Conservatism.  In it I said:

“I will not accept your vulgar, immoral, unprincipled, offensive, inexpiable and unpardonable charge on the Sri Lankan Government of Tamil Genocide, disappearances of Tamils, moving in of Sinhalese into traditional Tamil areas, the use of concentration-style camps for internally displaced Tamils, burning down of the Jaffna Library, and refusal to act on their Batta Kotte (Vadukoddai) resolution.”  I dealt with all that in my letter.

“Genocide” you charged.  That is loaded with unsubstantiated rumours. It would be easily explained to be a God damned lie when the Sri Lankan armed forces rescued 288,000 Tamils in May 2009 from a sliver of beach sand in the east coast after the Tamil Tigers had herded them for two-and one-half years from the west coast when the Tamil Tiger terrorists were on the run when their butts were whipped by the Sri Lankan Armed Forces.” 

And in my letter I went on to give you a High School class lesson on Sri Lanka and her War with the Tamil Tigers.  If you were a diligent student then you would have studied what I said, but being an “I Gotcha Sri Lanka!” Conservative I doubt it would have happened.

If your peer Sir Winston Churchill would have been alive, I am certain that he would have told you biting his Romeo and Juliet cigar:

“Rachel my dear gal, you are bringing shame to England like the stupid Gordon Brown, David Miliband and Keith Vaz, who speak ill of Sri Lanka, a country that doesn’t deserve it.  They are almost being a bunch of school yard bullies when they talk of Sri Lanka.

Remember what I said once, “Politics is more dangerous than war, for in war you only get killed once.”  Stop being foolish to get involved in Sri Lanka’s war when you no absolutely nothing about it and stop pandering to these Tamil buggers as I don’t trust them one bit as you will die many times dabbling in Sri Lankan politics before your aspiration of becoming an MP die eventually without succeeding.”

“Rachel my dear gal, let me tell you, that man Sri Lanka’s President Rajapaksa was absolutely right when he went after the un-elected bunch of no good  vermin, the Tamil Tigers, as he followed what I said during the midst of World War II – “We shall not flag or fail. We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.”  That’s what I said young lady, and I say Bravo to this brave chap Rajapaksa, for kicking the buttocks of these bunch of Tamil hooligans over the boundary for sixers, that you seem to support.  I don’t understand!”  Well, Rachel, that is what you would have heard from Sir. Winston Churchill if he were alive.

Before I switch to another topic on your BlogSpot I will continue dealing with your accusation of “Genocide of the Tamils by the Sri Lankan Government’.

Explain to me your logic how the following equates to “Genocide”.  When the 288,000 Tamils were saved by the Sri Lankan Armed Forces, during the final stages of the war, they had every opportunity to get rid of them, an act of ‘genocide’, but No, these armed forces men and women had hearts as big as the moon. They even carried the old and the feeble Tamils in their arms like babies to safety dodging the Tamil Tiger bullets.  They housed them in temporary camps, and the Sinhalese people whom the Tamil Tigers were targeting with their claymore mines and bullets, cooked one million meals a day to feed these Tamil people three meals a day.  They refused to let them starve going without even a single meal.   That was the love they had for their Tamil brothers and sisters, as they did not want them to die with starvation nor fall sick. Thus your crude charge of ‘Genocide’ is sickening and out of place and vulgar, Rachel.  The Sinhalese cared for the Tamils with their hearts, cared with their minds, and cared for them with their hands.  This act of humanitarianism was unprecedented and phenomenal.  You cannot deny that, nor can you penalize the Sinhalese for their loving kindness.  Phooey and Boo to you Rachel!

Figure that one out and let me know.  You got my mailing address and the e-mail address for that courtesy.   Let me find what a bright and intelligent spark you are!

What was stunning was when Doctor Rachel Joyce of Harrow was spitting at Sri Lanka about Tamil “Genocide’, the Sri Lankan Government was meticulously going about with their business clearing the millions of landmines that were planted like fields of potatoes  by the ‘running for their lives’ Tamil Tigers, and rehabilitating bullet pocked walls and roofless houses destroyed by the  world’s most ruthless terrorists, the Tamil Tigers, to send the displaced Tamils to their original homes.  And do you know what, Rachel?  Within 11 months of the end of the war, the Sri Lankan Government sent home almost 220,000 of the Tamils from the temporary welfare camps, together with rations, utilities and seed money to start their new lives.

This is in comparison to the mighty, big talking ‘We are Holier than Thou’ British like you who took 18 years to resettle the World War II bombed out Londoners.  How I know, you may wonder.  Well….Rachel, as a youngster in the early 1960s, I was in the London County Council Architect’s Quantities team helping the Senior Quantity Surveyors checking the Bills of Quantities to build Council Houses in Lambeth, Elephant and Castle, Islington, Camberwell, Holloway  and Shoreditch.  So you have nothing to talk of Sri Lanka.  They had done brilliantly well; not only feeding and clothing 288,000 Tamils for 11 long months but also temporarily housing them and sending them back to their renovated homes, and some that were newly built.  So what the heck are you whining about when you had no business to poke your nose into Sri Lanka’s internal affairs and getting your facts skewed along the way?  It is that simple.

So you posted in your BlogSpot a photograph of yourself with Sri Lanka’s parliamentarian Dr. Jayalath Jayewardena with a caption, “Is this a man the Tamils “can do business with”?”

This man Jayalath Jayewardena, I know him well.  You bet, he will have many questions from me that he will have to answer when we meet next.  More to the point “Is this the Sinhalese man his people “can do business with?”  He is been touted as a “traitor’ as well as a “Sinhala-kotiya” (Sinhalese ‘Tamil’-Tiger).  I believe that he is both, and Jayalath will be shocked to hear that coming from me.  As I said to you earlier, he will have many questions from me to answer.

You know what, Rachel?  I think that I have figured out this man’s agenda.  He is after a BIG International Human Rights (humanitarian) recognition, an award.  Perhaps, I may be not too far out to say that he may have even requested you to nominate him for one.  Jayalath may find it shocking to read my conclusion about him.  Well…what I would say to Jayalath is let’s talk; if ever I get an opportunity to do so.  I want answers from you Buddy.

In your BlogSpot you have mastered the art of lying about Sri Lanka.  Just cut it out Rachel.  Your lies will not get you anywhere and that you found out this week that it wouldn’t take you even onto the first steps of the British House of Parliament.  And with such lies about Sri Lanka you will not take the riding of  Harrow West back for the Conservatives who held it since 1945  (Norman Bower, Sir Albert Braithwaite, Sir. John Page, Sir Anthony Grant and Robert Hughes) up to 1996.

And if I have a curse for you for lying about Sri Lanka , my homeland which is very dear to me, to favour your Tamil constituents, I will not hesitate to say “Pox on you, Rachel!”
