The world order does not condone banned terrorists it gets rid of terrorists. A terrorist is one that uses terror to achieve its aims. It inflicts terror on civil society. It distorts information and cultivates and mobilises people to believe in their ideology. You are a classic victim of the Ltte terror ideology. I will respond to your statements, one by one.

YOU SAY that: “The difference between Mexico and Sri Lanka are that, in Mexico the government is fighting to eradicate powerful drug cartel, but In Sri Lanka the Drug cartel and the criminals are the government”. That is the difference.  

MY RESPONSE: Would a bunch of criminals feed and clothe and bath and teach cleanliness, how to sit and eat, train in a vocation, and reintegrate the Tamil tigers in rehabilitation? There is ample evidence for which there are Tamil tigers being prosecuted in Germany and Holland and the USA for money laundering, human smuggling and the works – recognized internationally. Be thankful to the presidential amnesty given to the 11,500 Tamil terrorist cadres.  I am sure you know what Ltte did to its PoW’s. I do not wish to be graphic here. But you can ask any Ltte cadre in Vanni and they will tell you.  

The Tamil tiger terrorists declared by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the United States, as the 'most ruthless terrorist organisation in the world' – and the war on terror succeeded. Of course your heart will ache as a man who supported the terrorist agenda. That is the case of many an Al Qaeda member. They believe that Bin Laden is a saint - in the truest form. They believe that he never sanctioned the attack on the twin towers. They believe that he never ever killed a civilian. So I totally empathise with your attempt to white wash the Tamil tiger terrorists, as you may have difficulty adjusting to the fact that they were defeated. Tamils still believe that the Ltte leader is alive (civilians in particular) You would do well to dissociate yourself from terrorists and think for a moment about your own ethnic group - the Tamils. It is a sad day for the Tamils, if you are supporting the tamil terrorists who killed their own because they could not tolerate a different view – I am sure you are aware of that much of the history of the Ltte – where its former leader annihilated all opposition. He has gone down in history as the Hitler of the 20th century – swearing allegiance to the leader, and wanting to wipe out Sinhala and Muslim from the North and East – which WAS genocidal. That is the only act of Genocide in Sri Lanka –wiping out two ethnic communities from North and East to create a monoethnic Tamil state. I wonder how you explain the peaceful coexistence 54% of Tamils living in the South of the country?

YOU SAY that: A man is in his own home, an armed intruder enters, he tries to defend, and the intruder shoots him, rapes his females and walks away with his property and set his home on fire. Now who is the freedom fighter and who is the terrorist. The freedom fighter is the man who owns the home, protect the female and property and fend off the intruder. The terrorist is the man who enters the home, kill the man, rape the females and walk away with the property. So then the Tamils are freedom fighters and Singhalese are terrorists. Mr. Ban Ki Moon, Mr. Barack Obama, Mr. Cameron, Mt. Putin, Mr. Ho Jin Tao and Mr. Man Mohan Singh big leaders of super powers didn’t know the definition and difference between terrorism and freedom that is why they called Tamils terrorist...

MY RESPONSE: If you speak with the tamil terrorists who fought on the ground they will tell you themselves that they respected the Sri Lanka military for the way they conducted the war. Speak to them and they will tell you that they respected the army because there were no rapes and no wanton killings. They say that there were rapes during times of IPKF (I dont know this for a fact but that is what they say). Some even smile and say why would Sinhala want to rape tamils in the vanni and in the north when they dont wash for weeks in the jungle. You know very well the grip that Sarath Fonseka had on the discipline of the army - and that is why the ltte fighters say they respect Sarath Fonseka.

There are no complaints lodged of rape - except the diaspora say there is. Watch the video 'lies agreed upon' of interviews of ordinary tamil civilians, of IDPs and of rehabilitiees saying how well they are treated. The truth for you hurts because you have lost your beloved terrorist organisation. You feel this bitterly because you backed the wrong horse. You did not care for your tamil people but cared for a terrorist organisation. Now you weep for the terrorist organisation and not for the children who are able to go to school in the vanni today - and their parents dont have to get them pregnant to prevent Ltte child recruitment. Ask the Ltte cadres how they had to take urine samples before taking female children to battle because parents wept and said not to take their daughter because she is pregnant. They got their children pregnant at 14 and 15 to stop the terrorists you are wailing for today. 

The world leaders you mention have enough sense and experience to identify a terrorist organisation. They all cant be wrong can they? You can cheat some of the people some of the time BUT not all the people all the time. 

YOU SAY: And let me ask you, Sri Lankans, Singhalese, the government of Sri Lanka and the Rajapaksas, gentlemen touch your heart, search you conscience and tell me did you or did you not kill any Tamil? If the answer is No and negative, you tell me and I will go before the Tamil people and the world and fight for your exoneration. 40,000 people are dead and 150,000 are missing. It is the responsibility of the government to answer as to what happened.

MY RESPONSE: I will give only one example but there are many more as the list is endless

Can YOU put your hand on your heart and say that the Ltte assassinated the Tamil academics (Rajini Thiranagama), politicians (Fernandopulle and many more), Diplomats (Lakshman Kadiragarmar), Families (Thampa and hundreds of others, International leaders (Rajive Gandhi), President of Sri Lanka (Premadasa), Sinhala border villagers (countless), Muslim villagers (numerous), School children, bus and train bombs (numerous), attacks on iconic places (central bank, religious places), special events (prophet mohammed's birthday, buddhist celebrations), Sinhala politicians, artists, civilians (countless), massacre of surrendered police officers 550 (Karuna amman will testify to this- your leder's blue-eyed boy), massacre of unarmed soldiers in transit sites, destroyed water ways, oil resources, power stations, airport, and pioneered the suicide bomb kits - that were happily copied by middle eastern terror groups, hostage taking as a human shield (later copied by Taliban in Afghanistan), and detonating suicide cadres among your own tamil civilians running away from the human shield. Need I go on and on? 

But then Ltte is a terrorist organization. Sri Lanka did not stoop to that level. Any Ltte cadre you speak with will say that Government never targeted civilians – they will laugh and say ‘that is why we changed our clothes into sarongs and hid among the civilians and came out’. They go onto describe how the military at great cost to lives of soldiers took longer routes to surround the Ltte to AVOID civilian casualites. Children will say how the Sri Lankan soldiers saved them from Ltte fire – isn’t that sad to hear that your terrorist movement was killing its own for leaving the area?

Where is this 40,000 and 100,000 names you are talking of? That was the former terrorist leaders wishes. The Ltte cadres will tell you that his grand strategy was to take the civilians of 280,000 and that he will sacrifice them in the final battle and the international community will then intervene. Ummm these 280,000 plus were escorted to IDP camps at the end of the final battle. The whole world saw them AND 11,500 Tamil terrorists were put into rehab. Sorry - you did not have the satisfaction of Genocide of your own people - because of the way the war was conducted.

Why are you so sad that so many people were rescued by the Sri Lanka army? How pathetic is that. You wished they died and you wished there was a blood bath to speak of. Where in your heart is the feeling for your people? You wished they got sacrificed. Fortunately the tamil hostages of Ltte were met by what is called a professional army with compassion. So your leaders grand plan did not work. Think about it and adapt. Their plan was not only to hide behind them but to sacrifice them like cannon fodder – but he did not expect the humanitarian mission – he may have believed in his own lies. 

YOU SAY that: It is unimaginable and unconceivable how Humans so wise can revert to their animalistic nature. And it is still worst that they can choose a wise leader who can promote hatred and violence. Are we motivated by fear and revenge?

MY RESPONSE: How more animalistic can you be when the Ltte that attacked any village gutted the women and children? Shot down in cold blood child buddhist monks - aranthalawa massacres, gunned down devotees at temples (anuradhapura), at Butthala they bombed the bus and then when civilians ran out of the bus they were shot. Have you seen the torture scars of your own Tamil civilians held by the ltte at the Vallipuram jail. Have you seen the public punishments of the ltte where in Vanni they get up in the morning and find a ‘traitor’ hung by the neck (as a deterrant to the public). For goodnessake - open your eyes, talk to the ex-ltte cadres, talk to the civilians in Vanni, ask them to show their torture scares made by the Ltte - you will weep. Ask them what the Ltte did to the the sinhala and muslim villagers. How gross is that. I will not go on to describe the gruesome massacres - it is the depths of inhumane ness - it is not even animalistic - animals kill to eat and survive - the ltte killed and put their child soldiers to torture the bodies of the sinhalese and muslims they captured. Find out how the Ltte used the child soldiers. The procedures for the torture. Read their manuals – yes they wrote manuals. That is the legacy they have left the children of the Tamil community with. That is why the Tamil parents dug tunnels in their houses and hid their kids so that the Ltte wont recruit.  These children (child soldiers were taken into rehab, clothed, washed, taught to their own culture and religion again and educated and put back into society). What right do you have to moan for an organization that did this to your own ethnic group. They did not do this to Sinhala and Muslim children, they only gutted them and hacked them to death – but they left the Tamil children desensitized to dismember and kill others and enjoy the look of suffering as they tortured the bodies and taught pure hatred.  You still weep for the Ltte?  

YOU SAY: Enough of sick people, sickening people, talking sickening things that have no sense of sensitivity but seemingly have nothing sensible to say which makes the world sick and the stomach turning. It is sick to listen to that Great Lair Perris talking like a man who has not known pedigree father and mother and a child that was conceived in the back alley of the bars and brothels. I hope he has some respect for his alma mater and the education he received.

MY RESPONSE: What can be more sickening than what the Ltte did. It is sad that you have distorted reality. When your grief is over I am sure you will see and know. Until then look at the images on the attached power point. They are but an iota of what the Ltte did - they made monsters out of their own civilians. And you weep for them? Open your eyes and ears - listen to your own people tell their story of their suffering. Don’t shut them up and call them ‘traitors’ when they want to speak the truth just because that is not what you and the diaspora want to hear. Your words indicate either total ignorance, blind faith in Ltte or pathological lies. You tell us which of these it is. 

YOU SAY that: I read and hear about how Sri Lanka blames what USA did in Iraq and Afghanistan, Russia did to Chechnya, China did to North West Xinjiang province, NATO did in Libya and Afghanistan. So then what happened in Sri Lanka is no different, that is what you are trying to say. Isn’t it?  Or is it that you want to justify your action because others did the same too. The question is go to your own religion and Lord Buddha who said harming lives is wrong, killing lives is wrong and stealing is wrong, and then ask yourself this question. Did we commit any of these crimes? YES or NO. In the first place if you did not do any wrong why you are trying to defend it and in the second place why are you pointing fingers at others to justify what you did. Are you looking for consensus not what and who is right and wrong. Your LLRC commission is not necessary, UNSG in not necessary for me and billions of others, you know why, we know what is right and wrong. Only animals, some of them, some times do not know what is right and wrong. The circumstantial evidences are so much and overwhelming that you are guilty. It is better to accept responsibility and move on.

MY RESPONSE: This is a classic case of wanting to create a rift between the West and Sri lanka. You pretend to defend one and demonise the other thinking the West will think you are a sensible man. They are smarter. If you speak of religious teachings - please follow some of it. Calm your mind. Then look at reality. Blind faith in a Terrorist movement is dangerous for your future generations. Even animals know right from wrong.

The Ltte - made sure two generations were blinded to goodness, values and virtues. Now the Tamil children are coming to the South and say that they never knew, we were not told this, we were told something different. You have helped to stunt a whole generation and half of your own people, for you to sit where ever you are and enjoy the comforts (probably of the West - from the way you are writing - out of touch with ground situation), and expect your Vanni boys to do the job. Sorry, Sir - they are saying 'no more' if you want you come and do your dirty work. We want to live in peace. Shame on you that you sit like a Maharaja and get the poor Tamils to fight. Now that your toffee is gone - you are bleating away. You should have at least visited them - they say that diaspora came and visited but never came to see what a bunker looks like. They did not really care. They made use of us. Look at them now. Still wanting us to fight. One Ltte cadre said ‘if they come and tell me to fight again I will eat their flesh for all the lies they told us about Sinhala and Muslim’. 

YOU SAY that: Mahinda Rajapaksa is a lawyer, I can excuse Gothabaya Rajapaksa, he missed formal education, so he may be excused, Great Lair Peiris is a Professor, Dayan Jayatilake is a doctorate so is Rajiva Wijesinghe and Palitha Kohana. Right, you all are educated people. The first thing I remember at school was good behaviour, that means be good to people. You gentlemen studied it too.Let me ask you, touch your heart, search your conscience and tell the world did you or did you not kill any Tamils? If the answer is No and negative, you tell us, we will go before the Tamil people and the world and fight for your exoneration.

MY RESPONSE: Touch your heart and say that TODAY young Tamil children can go to school and not be recruited, TODAY the A9 is open and there is free mobility for all citizens, TODAY the Tamil parents dont need to hide their children in holes when the Ltte comes to recruit, TODAY the Tamil parents dont have to get their daughters pregnant to stop them being sent by Ltte to for terrroism, TODAY the Tamils in the North are able to do what they want, buy what they want, talk with Sinhala Muslims and anyone without being put into the Vallipuram jail as a ‘traitor’.

Touch your heart and ask who do you have to thank for that - if you value the freedome of the Tamils in the North. Whom will you thank? It is hard for you to acknowledge that your idealised terrorist organisation is no more after 30 years of suicide and parcel bombs and blood shed. It is a sadist alone that will wish this on his own people and on any nation. Even the trained terrorist is able to now discriminate who was sincere and stood firm and gave an amnesty and guided them out of 30 year hell hole and is developing the North. 

YOU SAY : Why are you wasting your god given time and life on beating around the bush? Do not give examples, do not say Tamil are terrorists, and do not send powerful teams to justify. You ask the question, are we innocent or not. That is all that matters.

MY RESPONSE: You can answer this question yourself. You know enough now. If not open your eyes and ears. Look around you and listen to the grassroots people. Terrorism is not the way forward. All the world leaders are denouncing this.  Tamils are not terrorists – so are you one to speak for a terrorist organization?

YOU SAY: Let me give my side of the propaganda, because when you are treating the world as the court room and talk without interruptions and cross examination I have to do my part to keep the world informed too. I am not going to make the mistake LTTE made, they did not have a proper media organization, and whoever they had were not presentable in world forum.

MY RESPONSE: Honestly sir, if you think that Ltte did not do its damage - you are sadly mistaken. They not only did their job of indoctrinating a generation and a half, using propaganda that reached the international community, they had a separate wing that managed the international Ngo's and they also nurtured the next generation of Ltte cadres in the TYO (now they are a bit quiet after Vanni kumar and Ltte link was exposed and tamils themselves have risen against her lies – I feel sorry for John Snow for not doing a thorough background check before he risked his credibility but people make mistakes).

The Dutch courts have now heard of the level of indoctrination in Netherland schools by Tamil Ltte propagandists "The thoroughness with which Tamil children in the Netherlands ... are brainwashed with the extremely violent LTTE ideology is shocking," prosecutors told the Dutch judges.. You only have to read the Dutch court proceedings for this. You are more radical than the ltte - for you they were not good enough terrorists? You need to consider some serious counselling. I hope if someone is employing you that they get some help for you.

This is just a suggestion - if you put in all this hate energy into helping one family to buy school essentials for their children - dont you think it would have been better use of your time. Then that hate energy will turn to good energy. Hatred is like a cancer – it destroys you. Thank God we have a some courageous and sincere Tamil people who have joined the Sinhalese and Muslims to help rebuild lives. The Ltte cadres did mindfulness training – a program from India (S. Goenka) see if you can engage in this. It might help to open your heart and mind.

I am glad that I invested this time in responding to this emotional outburst of yours because I think you are going through a severe loss and adjustment phase. I am sorry but I dont have anymore time to respond to the rest of your attempt at analysis – which I see more as gossip and distorted interpretations in the rest of the email - generally that sort of thing is left for the old ladies in the coffee shops. But do indulge if you feel the need. It might be therapeutic for you to get your anger out. When you are better reflect on the interpretations and we will discuss again.
