                        Greetings from E.N.D.L.F.  The participants of the epoch making long journey on foot from Chennai to Delhi seeking justice for the Eelam Tamils, are the members of Eelam National Democratic Liberation Front (E.N.D.L.F) Our Front was a partner in the Northern and Eastern provincial coalition government during the brief period 1988 - 1990. We had the strong hope of finding a permanent solution for the grave problems confronted by the Eelam Tamils through Indo-Sri Lankan Accord signed in 1987. With this end in view we accepted the said Accord and the reign of the provincial government. In this Endeavour thousands of our members lost their precious life.

                       The unilateral approach of the Liberation Tigers was a stumbling block on the way to attain liberation for the Eelam Tamils. The high handed activities of the Tigers miserably extenuated and veiled the racial discrimination made and the ethnic massacre perpetrated by the Sri Lankan government. The blood thirsty Sri Lankan government, an imposter dissembled to be a balanced and just democratic one.

                        It is not an exaggeration to state that Sri Lanka is the only Nation that has been showing ethnic discrimination since last century. The heinous deeds of the Sri Lankan government in the recent past have made the whole world understand that the Eelam Tamils can hardly enjoy the sense of security and live in peaceful harmony with the Sinhalese in Sri Lanka.

                        India is the biggest peninsula that is very near Sri Lanka. We hope and trust that we will attain liberation for the Eelam Tamils with the help of India. Hence we gird our loins and strive hard to achieve our end. The part of our strenuous Endeavour is the 2500 km long journey undertaken now. This journey that started from Chennai on the 16th instant is progressing through the cities and towns in Andhra Pradesh. On reaching Delhi we would like to submit the following demands to the gracious government of India.

1. The Indo-Sri Lankan Accord signed in the year 1987 by Hon'ble Late Sri. Rajiv Gandhi the then Prime Minister of India and Late Sri J.R. Jayawardane the then President of Sri Lanka in one accord should be fully implemented to our consummate joy.

2. Drastic steps should be taken to evict the intruding 3 million Sinhalese whom the Sri Lankan government colonized unlawfully after attaining Independence in the year 1948 in the North and East provinces that belong to the Eelam Tamils as the bequest from their mighty ancestors.

                        We implore India and all other powerful Countries under the sun to join hands to fulfill our legitimate demands having in mind the radiant future of the Eelam Tamils.

                        We humbly opine that what we strongly hope to obtain in the near future cannot be in anyway an apt compensation for the great loss our people incurred when callous Sri Lanka was in turmoil. We conjecture that the hard hearted Sinhalese government will not accede to our legitimate demands. It may even decry them. Our  earnest appeal for justice should not become a cry in the wilderness. Hence we seek the succour of the whole world to be on the safer side. We strongly hope that you all will redress what is now amiss and lead our people at last to our land of promise.

                        We would like to meet you in person for a few minutes. We will be fortunate if you are benign enough to fix up the date and time that suit your convenience to enable us to meet you one of the days in the third week of coming march.
