Hon. John Baird, MP, PC. ,  Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affair, House of Commons, Ottawa.

Dear John:

I have just read in Colombo Telegraph the news item, Canadian Foreign Minister Strikes Again – This Time In London Against Sri Lanka.

John you got my goat and I am seething. You are obviously in your element when you get on your High Horse and try your Nepean Song and Jig when you comment on Sri Lanka.  Stop being so God damn arrogant, so God damn pompous, so God dam pretentious, and cut out your White Colonial mentality.

For God’s sake, do you know what you said at the Royal Commonwealth Society gathering on January 23?   How could you when we Canadians are not that pristine when it comes to Human Rights with our Native peoples. They have been crying for help for several thousands of moons, and every member of the Attawapiskat First Nation would have moved heaven and earth to change places with the 300,000 Tamils who were rescued from the Tamil Tiger terrorist clutches  by the Sri Lankan soldiers on 19 May 2009.  Do you know why John?  Because they were housed in temporary welfare camps, far better than most of  the housing at our Native Reservations,  fed three hearty meals – breakfast, lunch and dinner – a day, having cooked a million meals a day.   Medically looked after in temporary  health clinics that included the seniors, pregnant mothers and children.  The kids were taught at temporary schools, and what more you may ask.  Two years later, they were sent back to their homes, having had the terrain de-mined, houses renovated or rebuilt  together with utensils and an allowance to start over their lives that had come to a stop for 27 years.  That  is why, John

Do you know what else you said?  You said “…high military presence in the North of Sri Lanka.”  You were not truthful, weren’t you John, when you said that?  Why didn’t you inform them that Canada too is militarizing our Arctic North to safeguard our Arctic sovereignty from our neighbours who are trying to claim some of it and the Northwest Passage?  You are God damn arrogant, aren’t you John.  Sri Lanka too has a right to defend its sovereignty from our giant neighbour in the North, who bullied Sri Lanka on June 4, 1987, when they flew French Mirage 2000s, screaming over Sri Lanka’s  sovereign airspace, and Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister Jayalalitha keeps threatening to invade Sri Lanka.  Just keep your mind and hands off Sri Lanka, John.  Stop harassing them. Canada just cannot claim our harassing rights just because we give Sri Lanka a few million dollars in aid. They will do what is right for their country and its peoples and not for you nor the Conservative Tamil constituents. Like annihilating the most ruthless Tamil Tiger terrorists after a war of 27 years, while countries like Canada fed them letting the Tamil Diaspora stuff two million dollars a month for 13 years for the Tamil Tigers to buy sophisticated weapons to kill my innocent Sinhalese people in the thousands like swatting flies.   We are guilty John. Turn your hands and look at your palms and you will find a film of Sinhalese and Muslin blood on them.

When you were asked by Dr. Shiranee Joseph: “I just want to know where you are getting this information of women being abused and others in Sri Lanka…What is your source of information?”  Your response was, “Our main source is our Embassy in Colombo.”  What?  Does High Commissioner Bruce Levy  really feed you with that crap?

So John, you go around the world like a White Knight crapping and spitting all over Sri Lanka.  Here is news for You and Bruce Levy.

On December 11, 2011, just over a month ago, I as a lead coordinator of the Buddhist Mitten Tree under the guidance of Abbot Bhante Muditha at my/our Buddhist temple, Hilda Jayewardenaramaya at 1481 Heron Road, handed boxes full of woollen mittens, scarves, toques, caps and bath towels to the administrators of the INTERVAL HOUSE in Ottawa . It happened at 6:00 in the evening.  Do you two know who lives at INTERVAL HOUSE?   They are Canadian battered and abused women.  This was our second year helping these abused and battered women in the capital of Canada, because our hearts were crying for them.  And you have that pomposity and arrogance to mock at Sri Lanka.  Abused women are a global phenomena, and you bet, Canada is full of them.  So stop your white colonial mentality John, and get off that High Horse of yours when you talk of Sri Lanka.  Have a bit of humility.  Have a bit of honesty.  I didn’t request plane loads of it.  Just a little bit of humility and honesty will help to rebuild Canada’s image among  the mainly non-Tamil Sri Lankans which have been bashed and splintered in to smithereens with such arrogant talks by you and Prime Minister Stephen Harper.  Some moderate Tamil-Canadians in the GTA will agree with me.

And as for our High Commissioner Bruce Levy, who won my admiration as an honest diplomat serving our country in Sri Lanka, with that crappy information being passed on to you to feed red meat to the Eelam crowd in Canada, mainly in the Greater Toronto Area, he has dropped himself into my cesspool of unfriendly  Canadian diplomats of Sri Lanka, like Nancy Styles and a few others. Well…Bruce, you earned that demotion in my mind.  I am disappointed in you.

John, stop being so arrogant, pompous and pretentious when you speak of Sri Lanka.  Sri Lanka does not need lecturing nor mocking by you as the Foreign Minister of Canada.  I wish Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner in the UK, Dr. Chris Nonis, who I understand was present at the gathering made an intervention and told you, “Get your House right Mr. Minister before you talk of my country and stop pelting your winter snow balls at my country and us.”  That would have been a perfect conclusion to your Nepean Song and Jig at the Royal Commonwealth Society gathering.
